Course description

The Practical Project module in the Applied Mathematics program provides students with opportunities to engage with real working environments and explore the practical applications of Applied Mathematics in in organizations and enterprises.

In this module, students are guided to observe and study the work of professionals in the field of Applied Mathematics at organizations and enterprises outside the university. Students directly observe workplace practices, gain an understanding of relevant operational procedures, and identify the challenges and conditions associated with applying theoretical knowledge in practice.

Throughout the module, students interact and exchange with professionals to better understand job requirements and how Applied Mathematics is applied in real-world contexts. These experiences enable students to assess their current competencies and define suitable directions for their professional development.

At the end of the module, under the supervision of the instructor, students are required to select a practical problem related to Applied Mathematics, conduct analysis and evaluation, and propose scientifically grounded solutions based on the knowledge acquired in the program. The instructor is responsible for providing academic guidance, monitoring progress, and supporting students in completing the group-based practical project report.
