Course requirements

Regulations on eligibility for the end-of-course examination

Students are allowed to sit the final examination/end-of-course examination (50%) if their attendance score (10%) reaches 5 points or higher (on a 10-point scale).

Students must attend at least 80% of the total class periods in order to be eligible for the end-of-course examination.

Regulations on class attendance

Students/learners are responsible for attending all class sessions in full. In case of absence due to force majeure, full and reasonable supporting documentation must be provided. Each absence will result in a deduction of 1 point from the continuous assessment score. Students who are absent for more than 3 sessions, whether with or without a valid reason, will be considered as not having completed the course and must re-register for it.

Students will earn bonus points for each constructive contribution to the lesson, which may compensate for their continuous assessment score, test score, and group assignment score.

Students who fail to submit the group assignment will receive a score of 0 (zero) for the final assignment. Student groups that submit their work late will be deducted 1 point for each day of late submission.

Regulations on classroom conduct

The course is conducted on the principle of mutual respect between learners and instructors. Any behavior that disrupts the teaching and learning process is strictly prohibited.

Students must arrive on time. Students who arrive more than 10 minutes after the class has started will not be allowed to attend the session.

Making noise or disturbing others during class is strictly forbidden; eating, chewing gum, and using devices such as phones or music players during class are not permitted.

Laptops and tablets may only be used for the purpose of taking lecture notes and performing calculations in support of the lecture or exercises, and must absolutely not be used for any other purpose.

Learning outcomes and assessment

The training management system automatically assesses the level of CLO attainment according to the University's common algorithm. The course learning outcomes are assessed by both students and the University after the end-of-course examination.
