Course description

Anticipatory Governance is a strategic course aimed at equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to predict and manage change within an increasingly complex global socio-economic context. This course focuses on the use of advanced forecasting tools and methods, helping students develop strategic thinking and long-term planning capabilities. By studying models of change, analyzing data, and constructing future scenarios, students will be able to identify and effectively respond to the challenges and opportunities in governance and development. This constitutes an important foundation that helps students become flexible, creative, and forward-looking managers in the modern business environment.

Course requirements

Regulations on class attendance

Students must attend at least 80% of the course duration (excluding the final examination period) and obtain an attendance score of 5.0 or higher to be eligible to sit the final examination.

Students who participate fully and actively in classroom activities will receive additional attendance points.

Regulations on individual assignments

Students must complete all individual assignments by the prescribed deadlines.

Each student's individual assignment score is based on the quality of the work according to the criteria in the corresponding assessment rubrics.

Regulations on discussion and teamwork

Students must actively participate in discussion and teamwork activities as assigned by the Lecturer.

Learning outcomes and assessment

The training management system automatically assesses the level of CLO attainment according to the University's general algorithm. The learning outcomes of the Anticipatory Governance course are assessed through the following methods and tools:

9.1. Process assessment

Attendance score, assessing participation in classroom sessions and group activities: 10%

Individual assignments, assessing the ability to apply theory to practice: 20%

Midterm test, assessing the level of CLO attainment at the mid-course stage: 20%

9.2. Final assessment

Final examination, providing an overall assessment of the level of CLO attainment: 50%

The specific rubrics for each assessment method are presented in detail in Appendix 2. The assessment result is a score on a 10-point scale, rounded to 0.5, in accordance with the current training regulations of the National Economics University.
